Egypt is the world’s largest wheat importer, buying approximately 12.7 Million Tons in the fiscal year 2019/2020. To reduce dependence on imports, the Egyptian Government launched an initiative to implement infrastructure covering over 350,000 Acres in the Toshka area, located in Ganub Al-Wadi, to plant wheat for domestic use. This vital infrastructure was needed in record time, with milestones of completed zones every three months. In less than six months into the project, Hassan Allam Construction has completed two milestones and working on the third and fourth zones simultaneously, delivering infrastructure for more than 160,000 Acres for agriculture use. Hassan Allam Construction is proud to participate once again in nationally significant projects, creating value for those we serve and benefiting our communities for generations to come.
