Hassan Allam Construction, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding is proud to announce it has been awarded the construction of two mega pump stations in West Alexandria, which will be utilized to send mixed treated wastewater and agricultural drainage water from Alexandria to the Hammam Wastewater Treatment Plant. Our team is excited to break ground on another pivotal project on Egypt’s path to achieving its sustainable development goals (SDGs). The project is part of the New Delta project, which aim to expand Egypt’s agricultural land and develop the Western Desert region. Upon completion, it will contribute to the reclamation of approximately one million Acres. The project consists of a 3.5 km elevated canal that will be raised on piles and columns inside the Mariout Lake, and two mega pump stations. The pump stations will have a capacity of lifting up to 5 million cubic meters per day and will deliver water to the agricultural drainage treatment plant in Hammam - West Alexandria over a distance of 115 km.
