Hassan Allam Holding is proud to announce that its subsidiary Hassan Allam Construction has been awarded a new mega project for the Construction of Mostakbal Misr Nile River water intake, main pump station, and transmission lines in Rachid-Egypt. This new project is part of Egypt’s ambitious plans to cultivate and reclaim massive land areas in the New Delta Region in Egypt’s Western Desert, which aims to expand the country’s agricultural footprint. The project consists of ten tunnels crossings below El Khatatba / Manshiat El Kanater Road / El Riiah El Behairy Canal / El-Manashy Railway / El Riiah El Nassery Canal to transfer over 7 million cubic meters of water from the Nile for the cultivation of the planned lands. HAC’s scope includes full design and construction of the main intake and pump station, along with the transmission pipelines. This year HAC was awarded significant infrastructure works in the New Delta Development Project ranging from the world’s largest agricultural waste treatment plant, two mega-pump stations, and the relevant infrastructure networks serving these projects. We are excited to work on such vital and nationally significant mega-projects, helping Egypt in achieving its sustainable development goals.
