GE LM6000 gas turbine at the Sharm El Sheikh Power Plant

#cop27 We are proud to announce the inauguration of the development and implementation of the GE LM6000 gas turbine at the Sharm El Sheikh Power Plant, a Strategic Cooperation between EEHC, GE Middle East & North Africa, Hassan Allam Construction, and PGESCO.

The inauguration took place in the presence of HE Dr. Mohamed Shaker El-Markabi, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt, Hassan Allam, CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, Ahmed Ramadan, CEO of PGESCO, Scott Strazik, Chief Executive Officer of GE Vernova, GE’s portfolio of energy businesses, Joseph Anis, President and CEO of GE Gas Power in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Six years ago, Hassan Allam Construction built this plant as a conventional power plant, and today we are transforming it into a more sustainable source of energy.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the Hassan Allam team and all the teams who worked tirelessly on this project, ensuring its successful and timely completion.
