STCC – Mina New Project

Our team at Saudi Tunneling Company for Contracting (STCC), a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Construction Saudi, has successfully completed the the Sewage Network Capacity Increase Project in Mina – in the Holy City of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for the National Water Company (NWC).

Working within the highly sensitive Mina area, STCC deployed four advanced micro-tunneling machines to execute the works within just six months—achieving early handover ahead of schedule. The scope included the installation of large-diameter reinforced concrete jacking pipes, reaching depths and dimensions of up to 3.0 meters internal diameter, to strengthen critical wastewater infrastructure.

Delivered under challenging hard-rock geological conditions and strict time constraints ahead of the Hajj 2026 season, this project plays a vital role in enhancing essential services for pilgrims, while upholding the highest standards of precision, safety, and operational excellence.
