The Black Sand Minerals Complex

Hassan Allam Holding is pleased to announce that H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has inaugurated the Black Sand Plant, one of the group’s key projects to date. The Black Sand Minerals Complex, located in Burullus, consists of a primary concentration plant and a mineral separation plant, and is set to be one of the most nationally significant projects. It will produce a number of products, including zircon, magnetite, ilmenite, rutile, garnet, and monazite.

The project, which is one of the largest global black sand plant of its scale, was completed in a record 12 months, and attests to Hassan Allam’s capabilities in delivering complex projects of national strategic importance in record time and in line with the highest standards.
